Okay, that was glorious. Everyone’s arguments were perfectly in-character and the whole stream swinging between scientific points and elementary school gotchas made it peak comedy. Props to Bae for organizing it (and I guess to Cecilia for kickstarting it lol).

I hope they manage to do it again sooner or later, I wanna see more members debate (Ame and Mumei feel like they could do wonders considering their ranting abilities), or even just more of these ones swapping places like Bae and Irys were suggesting. As long as it’s all in good fun and they can find the good balance between trivial arguments and potential for “tribalism”, the format is great.

Finally, the showdown will begin. Probably won’t be able to catch it live but I’ll definitely watch the archive.
