Never ask Korone to marry you without standard precautions. Emotional damage will still come, but you might survive the rocket from a bunker.
Wonder if we’ll actually get more animated stuff beyond this? I’m still not sure if HoloAlt was supposed to have more stuff beyond Holoearth and the mangas lol
Also, lmao @ Miko’s transformation being fire-themed, she really can’t escape it

Took them long enough to realize how "negligible" the impact has been on the english community.
Oh god. Can’t wait for her to find out.
Wait, I’m out of the loop, why did she have a surgery?
Eh I mean, if you think the developers/publishers are trustworthy I see no issue with preordering personally (Not that I know much about these ones, I only heard about the series from clips, it was more of a generic statement).
Whoa, that is some quality animation.
Also, Biboo without her :D face is… unsettling.
Application deadline is May 13th, 2AM (PDT)
Maybe they expected less considering the vast majority of those games are really short/unfinished and not on huge platforms like Steam. On the other hand, it’s also to be expected that having the chance of official recognition (and possibly even monetization) will drive people to put more effort into them.
As for the rejection rate I’m not sure it’s really that high, they said their plan is to release around 10 games per year so if they get 50 applications at the same time they’ll naturally have to say “hold on a sec” to most of them.
Interview | hololive's gaming arm holo Indie hopes to put out around 10 games a year
Man, hope it's nothing serious. Good luck with whatever it is.
Seems kinda low-effort even compared to most fangames, but hey, it’s free so I ain’t complaining. Gameplay looks like a variation on Jump King, so it might be fun.
Imagine being an average Japanese middle-aged mother with no streaming experience and having under your belt two of the highest viewership peaks of a worldwide-famous streaming company. I guess “surreal” doesn’t even begin to describe the experience.
To be fair, they can’t see the future. People can change their minds. Better to write something like this than say “we will definitely always support Lemmy” and then in 5 years say “lol that was a lie”.
Missing a combo in rhythm games be like:
That already sounds like English, my extremely limited Japanese knowledge tells me the last line should be something like “whether the voice will or won’t change is a different matter” (and Google Translate agrees), but the meaning is roughly the same, yeah.
It’s still kinda muddy what will actually happen I guess, she’s stepping down from the advisor role (and it’s not really clear what did she do there), and she’s not denying nor confirming that she’s going to be the voice in the future.
All of this is very confusing and it doesn’t help that the second tweet’s translation is terrible.
I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what this actually means.
Wowowow Korone Box! I never had the time to try it but I saw gameplays and it does look fun. Happy for Tian Nya, and this also opens the door to other non-Steam previously published fangames.
I don’t really like how this animator’s videos look (idk, it’s probably something about the shadows?) but man, they do some crazy stuff. Props to them.
I don’t follow Kiara much and didn’t know about this series, just binged through it and it’s been a ride lmao
Wish more members did these sort of “official recaps”, they’re a good catch-up for new fans and occasional viewers (and a nice nostalgia trip for who remembers the clips I guess).

Okay I was NOT expecting that Fuwawa punchline lmao
Good for them!
I'm not really sure of what actually changes for free games (exposure maybe?), but I guess it's nonetheless a badge of honor to be officially recognized.
Afaik shipping from the US isn’t much cheaper, unfortunately.
The presentation roadmap at page 46 does mention Europe for 2025 though, so maybe there’s some hope to be had.
Barranquilla-based graphic designer Geraldine Fernández claimed she contributed 25,000 drawings to the film's production.
Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron will premiere in Colombia on January 25. Ahead of that debut, the film is getting an unplanned and likely unappreciated marketing push, as a local woman has gone viral for convincing major media outlets that she drew around 25,000 frames for the film’s production.
