Any tech wizards available know how to boot a F-35 into Safe Mode? Speedy replies appreciated

Third dial on the left panel under the screen. Pull it up, rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise, then push it back in.
It works, trust me.

That's a massive MFD. Now to install flight simulator on it so you can fly while you fly.
- Better install DCS and map the controls to the ones in the cockpit
- If you install a flight sim in the glass cockpit, and you link it to the real controls, you could end up with the same view on the screen as through the canopy.
  Add some drift correction where the plane on screen is automatically teleported/tilted according to GNSS and gyros, and you can fly your f35 in 3rd person view.
  
  Needs multiplayer support for flying in formations.

Have you tried scanning the QR code?

Try doing a barrel roll while holding the power button. Or maybe it was the konami code on the flight stick...
- Konami code will summon an option and basically turn the craft into Gradius.
  Highly recommended.

Have you tried restarting the device?
Turn off the HUD & engines, then reboot
- 15 times

Press Right, Left, Left, Right, Up, Down, Down, Right. for 1 extra life.
- No, that’s how you lose one life.
- Up, Down, Left, Right, L Yaw, R Yaw, Eject. Gets you out of cockpit view and into spectator mode

Jetplanes run on Windows. 🤦

Sorry pal, but the CrowdStrike causes a boot loop and safe mode won't help. What's worse is the F-35 Lightning II has all the components operated by electronic hydraulics (EHAS) and cannot be overridden unless you're an electrician and suddenly find a way to make a lot of leg room.

Pull your Fedora CD out of your survival pouch, and use a paperclip to open the CD tray

Just wait until it reboots a few times, then it allows you to select safe mode.
- With any luck, each reboot takes no more than a minute or so, assuming 15 reboots and a starting elevation of 40,000 feet.

I thought it must be running windows xp still. Nice to see modern BSOD.

Wait for it to reboot 3 times and automatically enter recovery, Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Command Prompt, del C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CrowdStrike\C-00000291*.sys
Is the fastest way to do this assuming no bitlocker. Also C: sometimes isn't mounted at C:, you might have to try all the letters between C: and X:, or just boot into safe mode.

There's a power button under the nose, you need to hald that down for 5 seconds

- I always have to do a search. Why can’t we just standardize on something? Even from the same manufacturer different models use different F-keys. It’s ridiculous.

Have you tried installing Crowdstrike?
- IDF installs that.

You have to do a VFR takeoff/landing cycle up to 15 times, and then it should resolve itself

You know, back in the 90s people would joke that instead of Microsoft making Flight Simulator more like flying a real plane, they would work to make flying a plane more like playing Flight Simulator.

You know, this was a critical plot point of multiple sci-fi media franchises.

Did you not safely eject??

You’ll have to shut it down and bump start it to boot from the UEFI
